WILLIAM KLEIN- SONY WORLD PHOTOGRAPHY 'OUTSTANDING CONTRIBUTION to PHOTOGRAPHY' AWARD
I am sharing a brief tribute to one of my favorite fashion photographers: William Klein (born in 1928-)
Klein achieved widespread fame as a fashion photographer for Vogue. His work was considered revolutionary for its ambivalent and ironic approach in media and his extensive use of unusual photographic techniques in the context of photojournalism and fashion photography.
He is ranked 25th on the Professional Photographers Top 100 Most Influential Photographers.
I am delighted to announce that William Klein will be in London to receive the Sony World Photograph 'Outstanding Contribution to Photography' Award.

Robert Doisneau, an artist of the Parisian streets, honored today by Google. The famous French photographer would have been 100.
Parisian born, Doisneau wandered the streets of his home city with his trademark Leica collecting images of the local street life.
Through Doisneau's eyes, paris became a magic circus of occasion and event.
